Our Story
Owlswood is a luxury Self Catering Holiday Rental . It is situated in the quiet village of Edinbane in the North West of Skye, and is ideally situated for exploring all that Skye has to offer. Edinbane lies between Portree and Dunvegan on the shores of Loch Greshornish and has the advantage of two Fantastic Restaurants Edinbane Inn and Edinbane Lodge which are both within walking distance .
Owlswood forms part of an interesting property formerly known as the Old House, which later became Gesto Hospital, the first hospital in Skye. The main house is being renovated to its former glory and Owlswood is the first part of the refurbishment to be completed. It has been finished to an extremely high standard, and is very comfortable and spacious.
The accommodation comprises of Fully fitted large dining kitchen 2 fridges ,2 freezers, dishwasher etc. Laundry room washer, dryer, The lounge has big comfy leather sofas, a wood burning stove where you can sit and plan your day ahead or unwind after a long day exploring Skye French doors leading out to a secluded seating area and 8 acres of mature woodland you are welcome to explore.
All the 3 bedrooms are En suite and well equipped.Smart TV, hairdryer, complementary toiletries.
A large porch area ideal for storing outdoor gear, Bikes etc. There is ample off road car parking directly outside the property.
