She's a 'Ribeye A600 ' a stunning fast, safe boat with an extremely high class 'super yacht tender finish'.

Causeway Girl carries x7 passengers plus x1 crew, will be based from Coleraine Marina and Portrush Harbour on an all year round basis and will available for exploring our stunning coast from Easter 2025

We see this as a departure from the traditional per head basic sightseeing tours being offered on the coast as it will be available only for private hire with our skipper.

Our wee grey tender boat holding on by its finger nails

The water level is higher than the arch of the concrete bridge that crosses over the dock and it's nearly height of the main quay.

Out in the Atlantic the Marker buoy M4 west of Donegal is showing a 9 meter high wave ever 10 seconds!

Catch of the day

With this weekends strong offshore winds we've been kept tight to the coastline seeking a little bit of shelter, Our fishing along a reef at Portballintrae produced this odd looking boy!

He's a triggerfish a strange oval-shaped, flat body fish with very hard and rough skin.

Globally there are around forty species of triggerfish, with most being brightly coloured species which are resident in tropical waters. However, only the grey triggerfish is to be found in UK waters.

Our Northern Irish sea's are quickly changing, because as recently as 2005 a triggerfish being caught on the southern coast of England made the national evening TV news!

Lights, Camera Action...

Delighted to have Sarah onboard Causeway Lass to re-enact a photo we once took with her late father Joe Breen.

Joe was a true gentleman and a great friend and mentor to many on our coastline, particularly the young, and those involved in the marine and conservation sector.

Joe’s participation, support and guidance for our sustainability and stewardship was greatly valued during his time at Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs and we're delighted Sarah has taken a huge step in promoting our coastline to a much wider national TV audience.
