CLASSES

Seasoned professional tap dancer or a newbie to tap, we have classes catered to all abilities. Running each Wednesday 13:15 till 16:00, our hourly classes run for beginners, intermediates and advanced capabilities. The University of Portsmouth Tap Dance Society is for all University of Portsmouth students and faculty of any ability! We want to encourage people to consider tap as a fun, en

ergetic form of dance, suitable for everyone and anyone. Held in the Activities Room in the Union, our classes are run by our committee members , who has experience on the West End stages of London. We're great value for money at £37 per person for a whole year of weekly dance classes, so why not come along to try something new, pick up an old hobby, meet like-minded people, continue practising the art of tap and improve your ability! Come with us on a variety of socials including West End and theatre performances! While we cannot promise definitive discounts, we do try to subsidise some travel expenses where we can, depending on budget. Partake in our fundraiser events, nights out and low key nights in. SHOWS AND COMPETITIONS

All members of UoP Tap Dance Society will have the opportunity to perform in charity events and showcases, planned competitions and our own Christmas and end of year shows. We encourage solos, duets, trios and individual group dances in addition to our taught group class dances! THE COMMITTEE
