Fancy a Spanish escape in June? The Sierra Nevada is a small, stunning range, less visited than the Pyrenees or Alps, which has wildlife, solitude, high peaks and clean air in abundance.
The route along the Sierra Nevada is often referred to as Los Tres Miles or the Ruta Integral Sierra Nevada. Our trek climbs up onto the spine of the Sierra Nevada range and passes along a string of peaks including an ascent of Mulhacen which at 3478m is the highest point in mainland Spain and the second highest European peak outside of the Caucasus and Alps. This relaxing trek uses vehicles to carry your bags, food and equipment ahead to each accommodation so that you can relax and enjoy the walk, scenery and wildlife. There is a lot of bird life and local wildlife such as the Iberian ibex, and the views across to Granada to the north and the Mediterranean to the south are inspiring.
