Our Story
We are a family-run London red bus operator based in Hertfordshire, serving London and its neighbouring counties.
Bernice set up the company in 2007 with her parents and husband, and like the full team, is driven by affection for the Routemaster era. She is fiercely proud of what she has achieved and the service that Routemaster Hire Ltd offers clients. Her previous career in information technology and work in large corporate organisations helps her set up efficient operational systems and to anticipate and meet the requirements of companies of all sizes and people with different expectations.
Jenny is considered the backbone of the company and it is her responsibility to handle customer enquiries, venue arrangements, bookings, route planning and trouble shooting. She is ruthlessly efficient and a stickler for high standards on the buses.
