🇿🇦 Tswalu Kalahari is South Africa’s largest private game reserve and one of the country’s last truly wild places – a timeless stretch of shifting desert sands, semi-arid grassland and open savannah home to seldom-seen species like black-maned lion, desert black rhino, pangolin and aardvark.

Loapi offers six private tented safari homes, each one an exclusive-use, independently run micro camp complete with its own private vehicle, guide and tracker, where guests are taken care of by a full-time homathi (house manager) and private chef.

January to March in the southern Kalahari is warm, sunny and surprisingly green. Brief thunderstorms bring welcome relief from the heat, transforming the landscape and replenishing waterholes.
