When Royal Mail delivers a box from your Hubby and it’s a brand new purse full of gift cards, a dozen roses and an envelope! 🙈❤️ Then you open the envelope and burst into absolute tears. 😭 He has not only surprised me with a 10 day ALL INCLUSIVE holiday, but... Just found this post I had saved from an online information event we did a couple of years ago! How times have changed 😁

Hi, I hope you’re all enjoying the evening so far!!

I’m Karen. I’m a wife, mum & nanny to a princess.

I first came across the travel business, when I was looking for something to do / something new to learn at the beginning of the 1st lockdown, I’m now coming up to my 2nd anniversary and just love it!
My shop had been been forced to close down temporarily and I had a bit of time on my hands
I wasn’t looking for a new business or a job when I saw the ad on facebook, but from a very young age I’ve always had a passion for travel so jumped straight in not quite knowing where it would take me, but I went with my gut!!

I, like many of you was very dubious starting out, the business just seemed too good to be true!! How can you get a business ready to go, with full support for such a small cost? I had looked into other options which were all so expensive, including a travel and tourism course at college that would have cost £1000’s.

I now run my travel business along side my VERY busy party shop & events business, however, I now see my travel business as my exit route! My party business, although very successful is also VERY stressful with massive, ever increasing overheads, staff, wages, not to mention the long unsociable hours.

I love to travel, I love socialising and I love spending time with my beautiful family but my events business has definitely clipped my wings far more than I ever imagined.

This travel business that I stumbled across has given me a light at the end of the tunnel!! I’m fast approaching 50 and getting my life back on track. I’m building a business I can work from anywhere in the world and what an amazing way to do that booking dream holidays for clients and helping others start their journeys in the travel business too!!

I have already gained so much from this business, the training, support, recognition and team spirit is 2nd to none!! The business keeps growing and growing. I’m really excited for what’s to come!!
If you’re not sure, just give it a go, you really won’t regret it!

Nestled on top of the Akamas Peninsula with 360° views of the Mediterranean, this place is just beautiful
No frills, just the best grilled meat and views to die for

After a busy little day of hospital appointments with the sis trying to get her arm sorted followed by lunch and shopping with mum, I've come home feeling a bit crappy 🤒

I had some work to do, so decided to do it from bed 🛌

A couple of quotes and an amazing planning meeting with one of the team done

Now snuggle down for an early start tomorrow 💻

It's funny because I never class this business as work. I get to support the most amazing team, there's nothing I love more than celebrating their wins!!
Tonight I've also put together a couple of quotes for friends and family's travel, something I would have done before I started the business but wouldn't have been paid for

It's true what they say, if you do what you love you'll never work another day in your life!!
