The house is fully dog friendly and we welcome dog owners. The beach has no restrictions re dogs all year round.
This single storey, semi detached cottage, has off road parking and an enclosed garden south facing for the sun and which is completely secure for your dog.
Inside the house is a spacious open plan living/dining area/ sun room with a large flat screen TV, a well-equipped and spacious kitchen, a shower and bath room and two comfortable bedrooms. The entire house has been completly renovated in 2018 and now boasts a new kitchen, built in appliances and new flooring.
The cottage is located along the main coastal road and Prestatyn Beach, which is one of the best and cleanest beaches in the UK, and is just 400 yards away across a footpath on the links Golf course.
Less than half a mile away, you’ll find a family friendly dining pub, as well as several takeaways, a post office and general stores and the Ffrith entertainment complex, which has indoor bowling, BBQ Grill and children’s zone. The North Wales Bowls Centre is also nearby.
Prestatyn town centre, which is approximately 2 miles away, boasts a shopping retail park and a thriving high street with numerous shops, pubs and eateries. Nearby Rhyl (2 miles) has a theatre, cinema and aquarium.
In contrast to the modern seaside resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn, is the charming Victorian resort of Llandudno (24 miles), which has the longest pier in Wales.
Ideal for those who love the outdoors, there are plenty of fantastic walks in the area including, Prestatyn’s most famous attraction, the Offa’s D**e Path. Offa’s D**e is a 176-mile National Trail, which follows the border between Wales and England. Along the trail are the remains of the 8th century Offa’s D**e, a large earthwork, which is thought to have been constructed by King Offa of Mercia in the mid-700s. Another popular trail, starting in Prestatyn, is the North Wales Coastal and Cycle Path, which connects Prestatyn to the city of Bangor over in the west. The Clwydian mountain range, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is also right on the doorstep, with plenty of enjoyable walks. Other popular activities available locally include golf and cycling, as there are lots of cycle routes in the area.
Less than 5 miles from Prestatyn is Rhuddlan Castle, which was built in the 1270s by King Edward I of England. Denbigh Castle, which was built in the 13th century, is only 14 miles away. Other places of interest within easy driving distance include; National Trust’s Bodnant Garden (24 miles), Holywell (12 miles) and Colwyn Bay (17 miles). Over the border you can also easily visit Chester (32 miles) or Liverpool (40 miles).
