We had an absolutely wonderful week at Hornby Cottage. The cottage was great and very well equipped. Everything was in great condition. Even had toys and games. The cottage had everything we needed. The location is fantastic if you want the countryside location which we did. The village is lovely but doesn’t really have any shops to grab essentials but obviously this isn’t a reflection of the cottage. The local supermarket is only a few minutes drive away so it was no issue to us. The owners are lovely. The garden is beautiful and we loved seeing the cows each day. We will definitely stay again next time we come up to see family.

🎃🎃 PUMPKIN PICKING 2024 🎃🎃

We are now taking bookings for this year's Pumpkin Picking!

As always our Pumpkin Patch will be full of Pumpkins & Squash in a variety of sizes & colours.

Once again this year we are only taking bookings online at www.bradshawsfarmshop.co.uk

Each booking made is per vehicle (not per person) & the £2.95 booking fee is also per vehicle.

Pumpkin Picking will be available every day from 1st October to 30th October inclusive.

The time slots are every half an hour and each time slot is for 45mins

The pumpkins & squash are weighed after you have finished & you pay for what you have picked.

A fantastic cottage in a lovely area.We were a family group of 6 with 2 dogs.The cottage is one of the best equipped we've ever stayed in,everything you could possibly want ,even stuff for ther dogs too,a real home from home beautifully presented.The enclosed garden was perfect as dogs could run around safely and a gorgeous open aspect to look out on.The only point I would make is sadly the village pub isn't dog friendly which was a shame but as we were lucky with the weather we had a few drinks outside ,many other fantastic dog friendly pubs in the surrounding areas though so not an issue .Highly reccomended.
