So Dave went for a little lunchtime walk last week, very nice for him, I hear you say. It turned into an episode of Animal Rescue. It had its horn hooked round a branch, guess who bravely unhooked him!

Busy weekend in Pilling, we were asked to help a friend remove honey bees from a bird box
I don't do heights so thankfully my glamorous assistant Dave stepped in!
The bees are now in a proper hive at a sensible level🤣

Scarboroughs New Years fireworks have been cancelled following the earlier visit of the Walrus on the harbour

The Walrus has now reportedly left the Harbour but the fireworks display remains cancelled due to concerns regarding it's welfare

I am just the same in the morning 🤣

Bushbury this morning during the cleanouts. He's being treated for mange, and on the surface of it, doesn't seem as bad as the others in our care we are treating - i.e. a lot less crust all over. However, we decided he was bad enough to warrant bringing in for some TLC and he should be ready to be released mid-week next week. Don't let the 'butter wouldn't melt' pic fool you, he's a little grump and will let us know he's not impressed by our presence, and doesn't appreciate being woken up for clean outs and being forced to move over to the other side of the kennel!
