Part 2. Mastering the Art of Leaving Honest Reviews for Your Holiday Accommodation: our experience.
When it comes to crafting our review, itโs often helpful to approach it with a rational mindset. We are due to leave our holiday accommodation today and I thought it would be helpful to go through my train of thought when constructing our review.
Negative points:
๐ง Noisy Neighbours:
- Were these disturbances merely a one-time occurrence with this particular set of guests, or was this a regular occurrence?
- I opted not to report the noise, indicating it wasnโt overly bothersome. Additionally, considering we had three lively children, we might have inadvertently been noisy neighbors ourselves.
No washing machine ๐งผ:
- My oversight led to the misunderstanding that a washing machine was available, when it was actually a tumble dryer.
- While the on-site washing machines were out of order, I departed before learning of any resolution. It wouldnโt be fair to critique this without knowing how it was addressed.
Cleanliness ๐งผ:
Although I noticed some dust on shelves, particularly in non-essential areas, the kitchens and bathrooms were spotless upon arrival. I chose not to report the issue, nor would I have felt comfortable having someone enter to rectify it. Despite this, it didnโt detract from our overall enjoyment, and I would gladly return.
Therefore, Iโll focus on highlighting the positive aspects in my review:
- Incredible views ๐๏ธ
- Excellent facilities ๐ง๐ผ
- Impressive amenities (Iโm tempted to purchase the coffee machine for our office!) โ๏ธ
- Ample parking space for our large vehicle ๐
- A top-notch, 5-star restaurant on-site ๐ฅ
