Part 2. Mastering the Art of Leaving Honest Reviews for Your Holiday Accommodation: our experience.
When it comes to crafting our review, it’s often helpful to approach it with a rational mindset. We are due to leave our holiday accommodation today and I thought it would be helpful to go through my train of thought when constructing our review.
Negative points:
🎧 Noisy Neighbours:
- Were these disturbances merely a one-time occurrence with this particular set of guests, or was this a regular occurrence?
- I opted not to report the noise, indicating it wasn’t overly bothersome. Additionally, considering we had three lively children, we might have inadvertently been noisy neighbors ourselves.
No washing machine 🧼:
- My oversight led to the misunderstanding that a washing machine was available, when it was actually a tumble dryer.
- While the on-site washing machines were out of order, I departed before learning of any resolution. It wouldn’t be fair to critique this without knowing how it was addressed.
Cleanliness 🧼:
Although I noticed some dust on shelves, particularly in non-essential areas, the kitchens and bathrooms were spotless upon arrival. I chose not to report the issue, nor would I have felt comfortable having someone enter to rectify it. Despite this, it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment, and I would gladly return.
Therefore, I’ll focus on highlighting the positive aspects in my review:
- Incredible views 🏔️
- Excellent facilities 🧖🏼
- Impressive amenities (I’m tempted to purchase the coffee machine for our office!) ☕️
- Ample parking space for our large vehicle 🚘
- A top-notch, 5-star restaurant on-site 🥗
I believe in separating reviews and constructive feedback. While I’ll leave a friendly review, I’ll also follow up with an email to provide constructive criticism to the owners:
- Suggesting additional amenities, such as a washing machine, to enhance future stays.
- Noting onsite maintenan
The Warren makes for a fantastic holiday base in Abersoch, especially for families. You get access to top-notch leisure facilities – perfect for those days when the Welsh weather decides to be a bit unpredictable! ☀️
