Gwelfor is situated only a 40 minute drive to Eryri National Park, which is fit to bust with adventures for all abilities.

This 12km circular route took in a Victorian mine, a view of snow capped yr Wyddfa, lunch in Beddgelert and a riverside return to the car park 🏞️

We can offer advice on routes and walks during your stay, having done many of them ourselves!

It’s the cosiest time of year 🔥

The nights may be closing in but that doesn’t need to mean the end of breakaway season!

Pub dinners, board games, films by the open fire, windy beach walks and long luxurious baths await in Gwelfor 🍷📕🛁

We’re booked up every weekend in October but plenty availability in November for your pre-Christmas getaway 🍂

Our favourite place to go for tea!

For our October and December bookings, we thoroughly recommend The Dining Room in Abersoch.

Proper cooked food, freshly prepared and puddings to die for!

Si also makes his own flavoured gin - so it’s draw straws for the nominated driver, or get yourself a taxi booked 🚕

Just a reminder that this is our last month of standard opening, we are open Thursday to Saturday until the 26th, before we close for a much needed break during November. October is pretty much full but there’s still some space tonight if anyone fancies a last minute meal out.

We’re luckily located a drive away from the Eryri National Park which has some magical walks, hikes and views 🏔️

Plus after your long day in the hills, you can relax on the patch with a glass of bubbly or cosy in with the fire on and a film!
