With heavy rain showers now following a period of prolonged dry weather, we can expect to see a significant increase in grass growth rates posing a serious risk to horses prone to laminitis or on a calorie restricted diet. Consider restricting grazing for good doers and for very laminitis prone horses and ponies, removing grazing completely.

𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 to help spread the word and prevent this painful condition from affecting our horses!

🧡 Hooves drying out can lead to extensive cracking & brittle horn
