Blackers Hill is a family owned farmhouse in Somerset. We welcome groups of 10-12 across our large 5 bedroom farmhouse. The farmhouse comes with lots of space, large gardens, BBQ/ pizza oven and large hot tub.
We are 11 miles from Bath with its Thermal Spa, restaurants and shops. 14 miles from Bristol with its harbour side and we have many local activities for groups such as:

The farmhouse is surrounded by woodlands with walks and local pubs all within walking distance. We offer 2 or 3 night stays for groups over the weekend. This could be for a family get together or a relaxed hen do. We are open throughout the whole year and our price stays the same for all weekends.

We can bring Mowhay to you…..

We have a 90 min session available for groups of 6-10 where we take you through the process of how to complete a perfect facial. We will provide all the products and equipment, you will only need to supply the faces!

£45 per person for 90 mins. Focusing on face and skincare.

This session provides you with the skills and products to complete our signature mini facial. We will show you how to care for your skin, whilst giving personalised advice along the way. During the workshop, you will also receive a mini head massage.

Due to a cancellation we now have New Years available at Blackers Hill Farmhouse. The farmhouse sleeps up to 10 over 5 bedrooms.

🐾 We welcome dogs and it’s FREE to bring up to 3. The farmhouse has many walks directly from the house, through woodland and farmland with streams. 🐾

The property have 5 large bedrooms, a very large kitchen diner and a very historic and spectacular lounge area. In the garden there is a decking area with pizza oven, bbq and hot tub.

We have available 29th Dec - 3rd Jan (3 night min stay) £1950 for up to 10 people for 3 nights or £2300 for 4 nights.

Christmas at the Farmhouse: our Somerset farmhouse is available for a min of 4 nights over the Christmas period (22nd-28th Dec 2021).
The farmhouse sleeps 10 within 5 bedrooms but there is also space for travel cots if needed. We welcome dogs and the gardens lead into woodland walks with streams and we also have a secure side garden.
There is a hot tub which will be running throughout your stay. Along with a BBQ, pizza oven and wood burning fireplaces throughout the property.
There will be a real Christmas tree to make the farmhouse feel even more festive.

The rental for the whole property is £2950 for the 4 nights or you can add another night for £400 more.

We love Mowhay. Such a wonderful retreat. While staying at the house you can also book spa treatments at Mowhay. It’s just in the village.

Feeling hot?? Look what we have open!! Our Farm Park is open from 9am -5pm daily and is absolutely FREE to come in. So grab your swimwear, and a towel and we will see you soon!

Ice-creams, milkshakes and sandwiches are available from our cafe for the ultimate picnic!

We really recommend Silver Street Bakery for all your cake needs. We love the cakes they make and they have a great range of sweet treats. Worth checking them out if you are staying at the house for a special occasion. 🥰

Our 5 bedroom Somerset Farmhouse can sleep up to 10, and welcomes dogs (up to 3, more on discussion).

Due to government changes one of our bookings has moved their stay and we now have availability the weekend of the 2nd July.

Fancy a private restaurant experience? Want to spend some quality time with friends and family? Like the idea of eating out at a wonderful farmhouse in Somerset?

Then why not book a private restaurant experience at Blackers Hill Farmhouse with Alicarte catering.

Currently we can accept booking for a private dining experience for 6 people from different households (min 6 or subsidy for less required) or up to 10 from two households. When government guidance changes we are able to change the numbers so we are able to take future bookings.

From the 17th of May Blackers Hill Farmhouse will be available as a pop up restaurant for you to have a catch up with friends and family.

Following government guidance we will be able to have up to 6 people or 2 bubbles. We can offer a range of 2-5 course meals to suit a variety of prices and using local produce.

Working with the wonderful Alistair at Alie Carte we can ensure you and your group have a wonderful meal and also provide a small selection of drinks for your group.

Bookings can be taken Mon-Thurs evenings from the 17th May. So why not book in a wonderful evening set in the stunning farmhouse. 🌼
