Realy enjoyable day on the boat today real good banter and laughs with regular anglers bass limit reached by 10am so spent the rest of the day on the hounds and strap conger lost count of how many but a few good ones for the time of year 2 over 12lb and a few other doubles well done lads.

August as whole was a pretty disappointing month for fishing offshore trips produced plenty of good mackrel but not a great deal to go with it a few bream greater weaver and gurnard,inshore the mackrel were far more patchy although a decent size bass thin on the ground and the average size of the smoothounds smaller than previous months,one or two decent skate and normal pest dog fish just enough to keep our anglers intrested.
Early signs look like sept could be a good moth with fish starting to move again although the fishing was slow in August again I want to thank all my customers old and new I've met some wonderful people through August long may it continue.
Just one more thing to mention is a massive well done to all the children who raised lots of money for the rnli unfortunately we didn't get them out to sea this year due to the strong wind but they all fished off the boats in the harbour eel bashing and all went home with a prize and a smile on there faces.

This year's annual RNLI charity children's boat fishing competition is fast approaching Friday 23rd August consent and sponsor forms can be collected from fisherman's Corner ramsgate any local businesses that would like to help out by sponsoring some prizes to help out would be extremely greatful this is a great for the kids and a massive help to the ramsgate RNLI for more information contact Jason or Dawn parrot via Facebook.

Not a bad june on the boat overall the month started off well with some good bass in numbers inshore and big mackrel on the offshore marks,towards the middle of the month the bass in numbers disappeared but a good number of decent hounds and a good average size have been keeping the rods bent, the end of the month has been pretty much the same plenty of big hounds with anglers breaking there P.Bs on a regular basis ' only a few small bass each trip and the normal dog fish with the odd skate thrown in.
Hopefully july will see the return of the bass in numbers and if the water ever clears up some mackrel inshore' unfortunately we have no weekend availability until the end of Sept but week days can be arranged with 2 weeks notice.

Firstly a massive thank you to both partys over the weekend for 2 days of great laughs and banter for my birthday and thank you to all for all the birthday wishes.
Fishing was made difficult over the weekend due to the nagging northwest breeze but both partys fished hard to land some decent fish Saturday tony landed a decent hound of 12.4 a P.B for him and a steady flow of fish through the day .
Sunday we had margate fishing club on deck I do supply bait but these guys take it to another level and the lads were rewarded with some cracking fish several double figure hounds 30 landed in total 15lb being the biggest on hard back crab a P.B for andy,4 keeper bass landed through the day the best going to Paul a cracking fish of 6lb also on hard back crab.P.Bs for joe John and Rob well done all see you all next month.

It's been a realy busy may for us with some settled weather fishing early May was patchy and frustrating battling the thick may w**d smaller hounds and a few bass kept the anglers interested in between the dog fest.
Towards the middle of the month and still the may w**d was causing fishing to be hard going at times but just signs that the fishing was starting to pick up with better size hounds bass and skate although not in big numbers, End of may has been so much better the may w**d has just about cleared away and the fishing has switched on the bigger hounds now showing in numbers some nice bass on the anchor and now with the birds working plenty of bass on the feathers not my favourite way of catching them but exciting for the anglers.
Unfortunately our weekends are fully booked now until November the only dates left are on massive tides where I won't steal anglers money, we can do week days but with a minimum of 2 weeks notice.

Busy weekend with settled weather bit wet today but no wind.
Saturday we had regulars Peter and the lads onboard, we steamed offshore to have a bash at something different to there usual fishing on the anchor first we had a go with the feathers and some realy good mackrel not in big numbers but good size fish then we dragged some bait this part of the day was disappointing only 2 small flat fish and 1 greater weaver , we finished the day on a wreck with 2 small bass a 1 nice table size pollack along with plenty of pouts all in all not a great day but good weather and plenty of banter.
Sunday we had G.J steeles this group very generously donated to the kids RNLI charity fishing competition last year and continue to come out fishing bit of a slow day but plenty of species bass hounds dogs Whiting pouting strap conger great laughs and a nice pint after.
Monday just 3 on the boat but just signs of the mayw**d starting to disappear with the bigger tide , some better bass skate hounds and dogs fish kept the guys busy all day well done to young Harrison on his 9lb skate top fishing young man.

Great banter and great weather on the boat yesterday fishing started off steady with close to 20 hounds no monsters 2 bass 40 and 42cm both returned safely and the pest dog fish Whiting and 1 decent dab, then I had a brain wave ! What a mistaka to maka a bad move on my behalf the afternoon was rubbish just a few dogfish and Whiting thanks again to the lads for a great day.
