The world’s smallest Art fair will also be in Tills Yard at Sampeacockart studio. Good Afternoon.
By way of introduction, I am a Robertsbridge-based playwright, writing to let you know about an upcoming event that I hope will interest to your members.
On Sunday, July 28, 3-5 p.m., I am teaming up with local author, Charlotte Moore, to present a drawing room reading of my one-act adaptation of ‘Pride & Prejudice’ at the Tudor manor house of Hancox, in Whatlington, followed by refreshments and a discussion about why Lizzy, Darcy & co still have a hold on us, two centuries on.
Participants will take parts to read the script out loud together. Therefore, I would love to involve members BatTS. If this is of interest, can you kindly circulate the flyer below, and this information, to your members?

To clarify
Alcohol and normal business first 7 days
Then 24 hours on Wednesday 19/06 from 7pm to Thursday 20/6 7pm NO ALCOHOL but open and showing sports.
Then again a week of normal activities until Wednesday 26/06 7pm then no alcohol for 24 hours but sports showing until 7pm Thursday 27/06, then alcohol again.
Council meeting 01/07 at 5pm to Hopfully get our full license signed off , but took temp week by week license now to open in time for euros

A month to go till .festival starts! With a huge range of events, concerts, workshops, talks and film screenings there is something for everyone. Tickets can be brought from their website. Sing along to Mamma Mia or learn about the town in a historic walk, take the children to a story reading or grab some dinner in town and enjoy some of the uk finest musicians in an evening concert.

What an incredible bank holiday we had in Battle! The fun isn’t over here’s what’s coming up in town over this weekend!

We have the breakfast meeting on Friday at 8am at , everyone is welcome to listen to Olivia from .battle .

ELF is back on Friday, live music moving around the town starting from 7pm, grab a seat at one of the fantastic venues involved to hear some brilliant music -

On Saturday there is a Craftathon in Market Square run by come and try some craft activities, music,demos, raffle, drinks & cakes! 12pm - 4pm.

Just out of town has their monthly market on Saturday with 30 stalls from local farmers and local small businesses, there will be lots of choose from. Parking is £3. 9am -1pm.

End half term right by letting the kids run off some energy at in Battle Rec at 9am, head down into town after for some brunch and a look around the independent highstreet!
