Kennet Serviced Apartments is a family-run business established in 2016. We operate 1-4 bedroom serviced accommodation across Reading, Berkshire. We pride ourselves in providing high quality apartments and houses for our guests.

The Role
We are looking for an ambitious individual to take our service to the next level and manage the daily operations of Kennet Serviced Apartments, note areas for improvement and act on the improvements to be made.

Tasks
- manage the daily operations of the apartments - check-ins/check-outs, key safes
- carry out daily inspections
regularly contact guests to discuss their booking prior to their stay and ensure their arrival, stay and departure are smooth
- meet guests face-to-face to check-in where possible
- manage the cleaning team to ensure accommodations are cleaned to a high standard, especially during Covid-19
manage the maintenance schedules and team
- seek business leads and guests
Improve the appearance of the apartments, inside & out, including interior décor
- improve the online ratings and review through targets

Progress and Targets
To start, the key target will be to increase our online ratings.

Kennet Serviced Apartments is a family-run business based in Reading. We operate serviced accommodation across different sites, approximately 30+ 1 or 2-bed apartments or 3-5 bedroom houses. We offer high quality serviced accommodation by providing a high level of customer service.

Cleanliness is one of the most important factors of offering serviced accommodation for short stays, especially during Covid-19. Our guests seek clean and hygienic places to stay for leisure bookings, for business and short stays, therefore it is vital that the cleanliness standard is high for all of our properties. The service consists of keeping our properties and communal areas clean and tidy at ALL times. The apartments are rooms must be cleaned and sanitised after all stays, floors swept and mopped, dishes washed, dried and returned to cupboards, fresh linen and towels provided and beds made to a professional standard. The stock and supplies need to be regularly monitored.

We are looking for a unique individual or team to take up the role of cleaning and management of our apartments.

The role will involve:

daily cleaning of up to 10 serviced apartments - deep cleans, linen changes, mop/sweep etc.
stock management of linen and items
laundry will need to be monitored and checked regularly
managing of maintenance tasks
ensuring brilliant customer service at all times
updating key safes in preparation for new guests
Essentials:

flexible (available Mon-Sun but hours and days vary)
cleaning experience
Candidates must be trustworthy
access to a smart phone and Whatsapp
ability to drive and own your own vehicle - full UK driving license is required
Desirables:

A bright and positive attitude to work.
Be able to work as part of a team and individually.
Must be organised and efficient
Ability to make decisions and work well under pressure.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends if required
