Microblading aftercare is crucial because it directly impacts the longevity and quality of your results by preventing infection, promoting even healing, and ensuring optimal pigment retention in the treated area; essentially, following proper aftercare instructions is key to achieving the best possible outcome from your microblading procedure. 👍

↘️A microblading top up is necessary because even with proper care, some areas of the microbladed hair strokes may not fully retain pigment during the initial healing process, leading to unevenness or fading; a touch-up allows the technician to fill in these gaps, refine the shape, and ensure your brows maintain a consistent color and appearance over time.

📆 A microblading top-up is generally recommended every 12 months to maintain the desired look, as the pigment will naturally fade over time; however, the exact timing depends on your skin type and how quickly your pigment fades, with some people needing touch-ups more frequently, like those with oily skin or heavy exfoliation routines.

I loved creating these combination brows, a mix of microblading and machine 😍
My client had previous microblading done by another pmu artist. However, over time, the lines blurred and became quite ashy.

So we went for a warmer light brown shade so when the brows heal, they won't appear ashy anymore.
