Thursday morning update.

Good morning everyone.😍

Well, I'm enjoying this lovely settled spell, and Thursday is yet another gorgeous day once any stubborn mist has gone. We can expect more periods of sunshine, occasional clouds will pass by, in other words, ansome!!

UV levels are still high today, so make sure you apply that sun cream, especially if you plan an afternoon on the beach, however, a little more cloud will develop.

Winds are breezy, from Northeast around 0-25mph, whilst it's hot the breeze is very cooling, as air temperatures will climb to highs of 22°C and lows of around 16°C, it'll feel like 25°C in any sunshine, so please take extra care.

This evening and overnight remain dry with a few clear spells, although a little more cloud will arrive bringing some mist and fog. I'm not complaining especially as the evenings are slowly drawing in with tonight's sunset at 20:19 taken from Newquay.

As we head into Friday it remains warm and dry with sunshine and variable amounts of cloud.

Here are today's statistics:

UV: Moderate.

Air pressure:1024MB.

Cloud cover:8-30%

Air Temps: 16-22°C

Feels like:21-24°C

Winds NE/0-25mph.

Humidity:57-80%

I hope you all have a nice day.

Stay safe,
Penny,

Another gorgeous day here in Cornwall. Here’s the update from the Kernow Weather team…

Wednesday morning update.

Good morning everyone.😁

Wednesday is another glorious day with a little mist in places gradually lifting to bring us some more periods of sunshine, occasional clouds will pass by. Anyone would think it's summer. 🤣

UV levels are high again today, so make sure you apply that sun cream.
Another lush afternoon is quite hot in places with some prolonged periods of sunshine with only a little cloud at times.

Winds are breezy, from a more variable direction NE/E/SE around 0-25+mph nice enough to cool you down especially as air temperatures are up with highs of 23°C in places and lows of around 16°C, it'll feel like 25°C in any sunshine, especially sheltered spots so please take extra care.

This evening and overnight remain dry with a few clear spells, although a little cloud may arrive bringing a little mist or fog. Weather conditions are nice enough to enjoy an evening stroll or watch the kids in the park, tonight's sunset at 20:22 taken from Bude. It's still a little windy we could see speeds around 5 25+mph.

As we head into Thursday the summer weather continues with warm temperatures and some unbroken sunshine.

Here are today's statistics:

UV: HIGH

Air pressure:1027MB.

Cloud cover:23-46%

Air Temps: 16-23°C

Feels like:21-25°C

Kernow Weather Tuesday morning update.

Good morning one and all. 😁

I hope you haven't put those sunglasses and shorts away, as this week you might want them. Tuesday morning might start cloudy with a little mist in places but this should gradually lift to bring us some more periods of sunshine, occasional cloud will pass by.

Please be careful as UV levels are still high today, so make sure you apply that sun cream, particularly if you fancy the beach, as
the afternoon continues warm with sunny spells even some clears skies if we're lucky enough.

The winds are a more Southeasterlyaround 0-25mph at the most. The sunshine helps air temperatures rise, with highs of 23°C in places and lows of around 16°C, bearing in mind it'll feel like 25°C in any sunshine, especially sheltered spots.

This evening and overnight remain dry with a few clear spells, although a little cloud may bubble upbringing a little mist and fog. It's still nice enough to enjoy the evening outside if you can, tonight's sunset at 20:23 taken from St Ives. Even with winds varying North/Notheast up to 25mph, this won't spoil a late summers evening.

As we head into Wednesday the fine weather continues with warm temperatures and some unbroken sunshine.

Here are today's statistics:

UV: HIGH

Air pressure:1029MB.

Cloud cover:20-80%

Air Temps: 16-23°C

Feels like:20-25°C

Winds NW/SE:0-25mph.

Humidity:80-98%

I hope you all have a nice Tuesday.

Tomorrow our kitchen will be closed all day - this is due to a staff shortage due to Covid and rather than trying to make it work and falling short on the service we want to offer you and also for the sake of our customers and staff we will take the day to assess and get back to business as usual on Wednesday. We have done so well to get through the last few challenging months opening 7 days a week with no disruption to service and this is only due to our amazing hard working team. A big shout out to you all - thank you so much!

Drinks, cakes, snacks & Cream Teas will still be available.

Please bear with us.
