r dog walks! Reydon Village stores is literally just 100 yards down the road and is so well stocked. Sleeps 4 people and up to two well behaved dogs are allowed at an extra cost of £15 per dog per stay. The property benefits a fully enclosed garden, private parking space for one car and easy on-road parking for other vehicles. One Bridge Road is an ideal holiday home for any time of year and would appeal to all ages. The Randolph Hotel & Pub is a short walk away and the family-run business serves the hub of Reydon community and tourists the most excellent food and drink! What a treat to see that big yellow thing in the sky... 🌞. Marvellous walk along Covehithe and only last night it was mentioned in the book I'm reading, "Diary of a Dog-Walker" by Edward Stourton.
A reminder to visitors to Covehithe, don't park on or near the double yellows as you'll get a ticket. We noticed 2 tickets issued...that makes it quite an expensive dog walk!
Oh, and more of the cliff is falling in...

What a difference some sunshine makes! We had a lovely walk along Covehithe today once high tide was receeding. Never seen so many cars parked up there...the not so secret, secret beach 😎

Been here a few days now..had walks on the beach, visited Buckenham Wine Bar which is a lovely, new place with some great wines and not a sniff of Adnams 😉. Lunch today at Le Roc which was very good.
Still no idea what day it is 🤣

Southwold is so lovely in the run up to Christmas - loads of great shops including amazing charity shops (I always get some real bargains!), the pubs have roaring fires so you can just settle down over a mulled cider or Adnams ale. Fab walks along the beaches that are all dog friendly in the winter - what's not to love?

If you're struggling to know what to get your loved ones for Christmas, how about a a mini break at One Bridge Road?

I've started getting bookings for 2025 so I thought I should share next year's pricing which have only gone up by 5% to cover rising costs.

One Bridge Road is a great cottage in a lovely location close to everything that Southwold and Reydon have to offer. We're dog friendly with a large, secure garden and off-road parking. The place sleeps 4 (king size and twin room) and has a real home from home feel - just look at the fantastic reviews!

Returning guests, of whom we have many, get a 5% discount.

Message me for booking up for next year - only a 25% deposit required to secure bookings more than 8 weeks in advance.

A beautifully warm and sunny beach walk, and the dogs were delighted to be allowed to walk along the whole of the beach. The garden is looking lovely and all the mugs have been bleached clean...again😉.

I hate doing these videos but this is for those wanting to know what One Bridge Road is like and I have added in some information for the less able bodied and wheelchair users.

If you're interested in booking One Bridge Road but not sure what it's really like, here's a little tour.

We're here One Bridge Road for the weekend and I thought I'd share some little videos of the holiday home as it can be helpful to get an idea of the rooms. This is one of the two bedrooms with an orthopaedic king-size bed. The bedding is what we bring with us (hence unironed🤣). Our guests get ironed bedding with comfortable pillows and a super soft mattress topper! More videos to follow tomorrow as we're in the pub now 😉
