One Bridge Road is an ideal holiday home for any time of year and would appeal to all ages. The Randolph Hotel & Pub is a short walk away and the family-run business serves the hub of Reydon community and tourists the most excellent food and drink! A visit to Halesworth. Can't believe we've never been to this lovely, old and historic market town which is only a 20 minute drive from us.
Lots of independent shops, a proper "fork 'andles" shop, a great bottle shop only stocking local brews and gins etc. HQ to Black Dog Deli and a deli-cious lunch. Stop off at The Queens Head in Blyford on the way home. Well worth a visit!
Beautiful warm and sunny walk round the golf course this morning. The dogs love having a roll about in it. We also had a walk through the allotments and admired the happy dahlias 😊

Absolutely stunning along Covehithe and Benacre this morning. Only saw 3 other people! Off to Aldeburgh now for a dander and spot of lunch.
For those wanting to know how to walk to the Grain Shed I have attached an extract of the map. You can get to it via the footpath from Lowestoft Road, Reydon or via the footpath at the far end of the overflow car park at North Beach, Southwold. Along that same footpath there is a newly created path that has a broken sign on it saying only for campsite users, or similar. Take that path and it comes out at the campsite and the Grain Shed bar at Pigs in Blankets Southwold. Lovely walk, dog friendly. Open until the end of September and end of their camping season. You can also drive to it and the entrance is on Lowestoft Road for Pigs in Blankets campsite
Sunday crossword time... the crows have come home to roost and they are so flipping noisy!
Great 4 miles circular walk this morning. The dogs loved the waves.
Then some house chores...moved the beds and washed the carpets. Everything is smelling lovely and clean!
We had a lovely walk via the footpath and got to the The Grain Shed at the Pigs in Blankets campsite. Open until the end of September from 2 till 10pm. From our place it's a lovely 20 minute walk, dog friendly and super products. Really great little find!
A rather windy walk along Covehithe beach today. The waves were pretty feisty for here!
And now all the mugs are tea stain free (pet hate number 543!)

Guests at One Bridge Road recommended the Secret Sauna as a great place to visit. They went as a family and even paddle-boarded. I've just had a look at what the Secret Sauna offers and it looks amazing. It's not far from One Bridge Road and perhaps something different to try out...

I hate doing these videos but this is for those wanting to know what One Bridge Road is like and I have added in some information for the less able bodied and wheelchair users.
If you're interested in booking One Bridge Road but not sure what it's really like, here's a little tour.
We're here One Bridge Road for the weekend and I thought I'd share some little videos of the holiday home as it can be helpful to get an idea of the rooms. This is one of the two bedrooms with an orthopaedic king-size bed. The bedding is what we bring with us (hence unironed🤣). Our guests get ironed bedding with comfortable pillows and a super soft mattress topper! More videos to follow tomorrow as we're in the pub now 😉
