Free festive car-parking will be available in the following County Council car parks:

• Amlwch
• Benllech Square
• Holyhead
• Llangefni
• Menai Bridge
• Rhosneigr
• Lôn St Ffraid, Trearddur Bay

This year, an additional week of free parking will be made available thanks to grant funding to support high streets by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

There will be no charge to park in the above car parks from December 7 – January 1 after 10am. This is to encourage people to shop local and support our small businesses during the festive period.

Normal parking fees will resume on January 2nd, 2025.

We’ve received a few messages lately enquiring about the bovaer additive that a small number of Arla farms are trialling. The additive is supposed to reduce the amount of methane that the cows produce through their 💨 and 💩. We want to assure our customers that we don’t use the Bovaer additive and have no intention of doing so.

Our cows eat homegrown grass/silage and barley and the rest is made up of a mix of cereals and vitamins.

We think that there are other significant contributors of emissions in this world ✈️👀 that could be dramatically reduced compared to the output from cows.

If you’re concerned about what goes into your food, this is the best time to support your local farmers/food producers where everything is traceable. Nothing is added or removed from our milk making it high quality, nutritious and delicious 😋🥛

Our local pharmacy is fantastic, we can’t recommend Jenny and her team highly enough.

If you are unwell or injured whilst on holiday you have several options to get treatment depending on the severity of your symptoms.
• Many community pharmacies now have a prescriber on site for conditions such as infections - ears, chest, throat skin and other acute problems. Contact the nearest pharmacy for availability.
• NHS 111 can give advice anytime and treatment out of hours.
• Minor injury units if you havce an non-life-threatening injury.

If the above services are unable to help they will signpost you to an appropriate service.

Are you looking for a weekend away before Christmas? Anglesey is a perfect destination to relax and unwind.

We love a beach walk after breakfast, lunch in one of the local restaurants or cafes, a walk back before popping out to pick up some fish and chips or pizza for dinner followed by cuddled up in front of the fire to watch a movie with a glass of wine.

During winter we offer a minimum stay of 2 nights for the full house or 3 nights on our reduced occupancy deal.
