Apologies but because of the very cold weather at the moment it's been decided to cancel tonight's meeting due to concerns about safety. Sue has walked up the hill in Dyserth and it's icy and it's not likely to improve today. We don't want anyone to get hurt. Our next meeting is on the 14th February when hopefully the weather will be better.

Next week's Wednesday walk will meet at the car park near Talacre Lighthouse (this may be a paying car park) for a walk along the coastal path. We will return to either Aberkhan or Prestatyn for refreshments.

This Friday's meeting is our games night. We would be grateful if you could bring a game that you enjoy playing to share with other members to increase the choice of games available to play. Josie would also be pleased to have donations of suitable unwanted Christmas presents to use as raffle prizes. Any unwanted gifts of toiletries that would be suitable to donate to the Women's Refuge would also be welcome.

This week's Wednesday walk will start from Meliden Golf Club, meeting at 10am. We will walk along the track way and then return to the Golf Club for refreshments. We will discuss the programme for the next four weeks, any suggestions for different walks are welcome.

As usual our party was a perfect start to the Xmas festivities. Wonderful company, great food and lots of laughter. Happy Xmas everyone. See you all in 2025.

Just a few requests about our Christmas party on Friday.
- Please would you bring a small plate of food and something to drink, both of which can be shared with others on your table.
- If possible would you also bring an empty toilet roll holder and a small gift to make a Christmas cracker - explanation to be given on Friday!
- Finally, we will be collecting donations of toiletries for the women's centre on Friday, if you are able to donate an item it would be appreciated.
