RICHMOND

Richmond is just a short drive away from Marske Hall Country Estate, the Small Town is picturesque, full of character and steeped in History!

With no shortage of places to stop for something to eat and drink ( we found a lovely qwirky alley cafe called Grannys Kitchen, that had plenty of home made treats, toasties and super thick icecream milkshakes, and some lovely friendly staff )you really can have a nice wander and slow paced relaxing afternoon here.

Take in the views of Richmond Falls, Visit The Historical Norman Castle that over looks the River Swale.
Visit the The Ruins of Easby Abbey and The Green Howard's Museum and gain some knowledge of the Market towns links to Military History.
A short walk further down into Town also takes you to the old Station which now consists of a Cinema , shops and a place to eat.
