🎶 'A Popular Christmas' concert with The Station Singers at St Mary's Church, Saturday 14th December, doors open 6pm
🎶 British Army Band Catterick Christmas Concert, Mondy 16th December at St Mary's Church Richmond, with Hudswell and Downholme and Marske - 7pm
🎭 Christmas Carol Night and Mummers play with Richmond on Swale Morris Men at The Crown Inn, Thursday 19th December from 8pm
🎄 Saturday mornings (14th and 21st December), 9-11am at Holly Hill Inn - Breakfast with the Elves!

This Friday, don't miss the festivities in the Market Place, Market Hall and Friary Gardens. Free mince pies and mulled wine! And you can even join the Richmond Operatic Society to accompany Santa from the Town Hall to Friary Gardens in time for switching on of the lights!

The incredible thespian talent of Richmond is on full display this coming November, with two amazing productions at the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, North Yorkshire:
🎭Wednesday 6th - Saturday 9th November Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society present "Blue Stockings". At Cambridge University in 1896, Tess Moffat and her fellow first years are determined to win the right to graduate. The play follows the women over one tumultuous academic year, in their fight to change the future of education. Challenging, moving and also funny!
🎭Wednesday 13th - Saturday 16th November, Richmond Operatic Society hit the stage with "9 to 5 The Musical", based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic... with music by Dolly Parton!

🪗Tuesday 5th November from 7.30pm it's the monthly session by Richmond Folk Club at the Black Lion Hotel
👻Monday to Saturday at Richmondshire Museum, spooky half-term activities...
🎥 It's over half-term at Station Cinema Richmond with lots of spooky films just £5/ticket (and lots of family-friendly stuff too!)

If you're a fan of all things orange... If you've got children who are bursting with excitement to carve a pumpkin head and stick a candle inside... here are a couple of local PYO pumpkin patches!

Atley Hill PYO Pumpkins now open 10am-3pm Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd, Friday 27th - 30th with late opening on 20th till 6pm
Baydale Pumpkin Patch - Darlington open Thursdays and Fridays 12-5, Saturdays and Sundays 10am-4pm, 28th-31st 10am-4pm. Plus 'Dusk to Darkness' evening events on 24th and 25th - book tickets on the website.

NB - pumpkins are delicious and there are lots of great recipes online. Don't just throw it away after hallowe'en!
