I am an independent upholsterer, with over 30 years of experience in high end upholstery. Ranging from manufacturing, re-upholstery and the design and construction of bespoke upholstered furniture. Most of my experience was gained while working for Ideal upholstery, my position was research and development manager. My duties included developing new sofas and chairs and making it possible for every

sofa and chair to be manufactured on mass. I also worked for Barker and Stonehouse as a leather and upholstery specialist, I travelled to Italy where I met Italian furniture designers to learn their manufacturing processes. I currently own Heritage Upholstery located in Darlington ,we are reupholstery specialists of antique and modern upholstered furniture .we also retail sofas and chairs.
