Friends and family, I write to you today to announce the death of David. This is not a post I was expecting to write, but it's nonetheless one that has to be written. Dave passed away unexpectedly on 17/12/22 Anyone who knew Dave personality would know he would not want a fuss made, My thoughts his family , he was a amazing person and a ture friend to so many. We spent many days and nights in the Mountains lost count how many we summited together. Dave had so much love for North Wales His favourite was Tryfan spent many nights wildcamping in Ogwen Valley. This was on rhyd ddu, the original ascent path to the summit. Which is your favourite path up Yr wyddfa/snowdon?

Taking my brother out for his first time on striding edge up to helvellyn. He's not a massive fan of heights and exposure but enjoyed himself along this ridge. A good one for people looking to start scrambling. Dry rock and low wind made for a more comfortable day as well.

I love being out on a misty mountain. Imperative that you know how to navigate when you lose visibility. I've encountered countless people over the years who are lost in the mist. That's not a fun place to be!

Closely watching the forecasts!

Bristly ridge in the fog on Saturday, it was really atmospheric up there. Probably my favourite of the grade 1 scrambles.
