I’ve been back in the office for the last few days after by lovely holiday in Zante 😎 So I’ve just caught able up with my messages & emails ☺️

A little bit about my holiday - We flew from East Midlands, the TUI desk didn’t have a queue this time, so we were soon checked in. Luckily our luggage weight wasn’t over this time! 🤣

We stayed at the Aqua Bay Suites in Tsilivi, Zante, a TUI Splashworld hotel. It’s a small hotel with 76 rooms, either a ground floor swim up room or a 2nd floor room with balcony. We had a swim up room & it was just perfect for us. We had sun on our terrace till about 3pm. The kids could go in the pool or relax in the room whilst I sunbathed ☀️

The water park is 5 minutes walk away & we spent a few afternoons there. One good thing about was that drinks & snacks were included in the all inclusive. There 7 big slides & a lazy river. There’s a splash park with tipping bucket, a wave machine & another larger pool where you can do aqua aerobics & play volley ball. We really enjoyed the waterpark 💦

Food wise, there is the Al Fresco restaurant at the Aqua Bay Suites, a buffet for breakfast, lunch & dinner. It is a small restaurant, but does have a good selection of food which was well labelled. There is also a snack bar, for things like burgers, toasties, Greek salads, fish fingers & chips etc. I think my kids tried most things on the menu! 🍔

There are 2 a la carte restaurants at the water park, an Italian ( this doesn’t have a children’s menu for some reason) and then an International a la carte restaurant where the food was amazing & they do have a children’s menu 🍽️ There are also bbq theme nights at the water park, we tried the Italian 🇮🇹 You can also eat at 2 neighbouring hotels, the Aqua Bay hotel & the Planos Bay who also use the waterpark facilities. We ate at the Aqua Bay Hotel on our last night & wished we’d tried there sooner there seemed to be more choice & you could eat outside 🐚 So plenty of choice for food!

There is TUI run kids club at the Planos Bay for the 3 hotels, but we didn’t use it. Evening entertainment was at the water park, but we heard it wasn’t that great 🙈 We either played UNO or walked into Tsilivi where there are lots of shops, bars & restaurants 🍹

It’s a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach which is just a narrow strip of sand & rocks, but there are better beaches a bit further away 🌊

A few other things, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the swim up rooms have a glass partition that you can slide over if you have young children travelling for safety & would I recommend this hotel, yes definitely! 🤩 It was a great relaxing break 😌
