Back to the Beech for your U16s this week with a tough game Wakefield FC Juniors.

Last meeting Wakefield came out on top but the Colls gave one hell of a second half performance.

If we play like that for 75% of game or more we could steal some points from a team second in the division.

So, 2024…where do I start?!

Firstly a thank you to all the employees who make it happen…we don’t always see eye to eye, but you come round eventually (only joking 🫣).

Drivers, Office Staff, Cleaners, Workshop lads and everyone involved with the running of the business.

We run a fleet of 36 vehicles, of which are ALL Euro 6 engines, making the fleet the cleanest emmisions they possibly can be, without going Electric (watch this space 👀).

The effort put in to ensure these vehicles the cleanest, safest, reliable & roadworthy, takes a lot of time and passion, which my employees do daily - Thank you.

So what’s happened in 2024 for TJ’s Travel?

- We were kindly invited by Pelican to visit the Yutong factory in China.

This was to see at first hand how the Yutong products are made, and a behind scenes Tour of the huge site where it all happens (very impressive).

- A number of brand new vehicles were received, increasing the fleet due to work demands.

- New orders have already been placed for 2025 arrivals, these will complement our existing vehicles and fleet renewals.

- Lots of new employees have started with us in 2024, who have all settled in nicely.

- Due to our success & expansion, we’ve had to move to a bigger yard which is serving us well.

- New facilities & equipment for the Drivers, Cleaners & Office staff - looking after them and making sure they come to work with a smile 😀

- Investment on a brand new 2 bay Workshop including a new Rolling Road Brake Tester, Headlight Checker, 2 sets of Lifts, Work Stations etc - allowing the lads to be able to work on vehicles with ease.

- We’ve had many repeat customers travel with us, as well as gaining lots of new ones…do the job right first time and they will always come back to you.

- Old contracts have renewed, more contracts have been received, new relationships have been forged - and we even help our fellow Operator friends from time to time with breakdowns, large bookings, last minute panics and anything in between 🙄.

All in all, 2024 has been a good year for TJ’s Travel as we strive to do our very best…

2025 is going to be another successful year with lots planned, lots of possibilities and no doubt lots of drama along the way.
