👑 Come along and join the celebrations at our live screen event, where a 'live' stream of the BBC's King's Coronation starts in 1 hour! 📺 Saturday 6 May, 11am-1pm

🤹‍♀️ To amuse the younger audiences, we have a colourful and lively programme of activities lined up to keep them entertained. Bring along your picnic hampers or purchase food and beverages from the onsite trade stalls.

The Coronation Special Open Top Bus Tours 🚌
Saturday, 6 & Sunday 7, May

During the Coronation weekend, special open top bus tours with 'live' guide commentary will take place on Saturday, 6 May and Sunday, 7 May.

The hop-on, hop-off tours will take place from the Medway Visitor Information Centre coach bays in starting at 10am with the last bus departing at 4pm. Narrated by Medway Arts Tours, the 'live' guide will portray Queen Victoria, providing historical accounts of the queens and kings that have visited Medway from the past to the present times.

Don't miss our Coronation fun this week!

👑 Fancy dress and crown drop-in craft
Children (and accompanying adults!) are encouraged to dress in royal fancy dress for our regular children's sessions this week.
- Baby Bounce & Rhyme
- Toddler, Shake & Boogie
- Pop-In & Play
There will also be a fun, free, drop-in crown craft to enjoy at these sessions.

👑 Children’s poetry workshops
We will be hosting two drop-in children’s poetry workshops at Gillingham Library & Community Hub on Saturday, 6 May, the day of the Coronation.
Sessions will run from 10.30am to 12 noon, then from 2pm to 3.30pm.
Help us write a community poem that's fit for a King!

👑 The Coronation will also be live screened at Gillingham Library & Community Hub on Saturday, 6 May.

All these activities are FREE! There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day!
