🌟 Meet Paddy, one of our newest customers! 🌟

A couple of weeks ago, Paddy reached out to me after hearing about Driving Miss Daisy. We had a great chat about how I could help, and I was thrilled to meet him in person!

Our first trip together took us to Romsey, where Paddy volunteers at a local Mind event. What an inspiring guy! Along the way, we bonded over music, football, and even had a mini singalong. 🎶⚽

A Heartwarming Journey to the RSPCA Stubbington Ark 🐾

I had the privilege of taking one of my lovely customers to the RSPCA Stubbington Ark to make a generous donation. It was such a heartwarming trip—seeing the animals and knowing this act of kindness will help them was truly touching.

As someone who loves animals (I have three cats at home!), this trip was especially meaningful for me. It was wonderful to see the joy it brought to my customer and to know we were helping such a worthy cause.

While I often help with hospital or medical appointments, I can support many different types of journeys—whether it’s a visit to an animal shelter, shopping trips, or simply a scenic drive. If you or someone you know could use a helping hand, I’d be delighted to assist.

Thank you to the RSPCA for all the incredible work you do. If you’re able, consider supporting your local animal charities—they do so much for those who can’t speak for themselves.

As 2024 comes to a close, I just wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Driving Miss Daisy Romsey during my first three months in business.

To my amazing customers, the wonderful care homes, and the fantastic people of Romsey who have liked, shared, and welcomed me so warmly into the community—your kindness and encouragement mean the world to me.

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! Have a lovely evening and a fabulous Christmas. The Romsey Daisy has had a scrub inside and out ready for a trip tomorrow.

As many of you will know I carry sweets and water for all my customers, I brought lemon sherbets last time but I don’t think they were hitting the mark. Sooooo Werther’s Original are back in the daisy!

And a happy new year 😀

Today, I had the privilege of driving a lovely lady and her son to a new care home, closer to family. It was a long day, but incredibly rewarding.

Every two weeks, I take Ian back to his home, and this time, I stayed for a coffee and spent some time with him, his wife, and their lovely dogs. It’s always such a pleasure to see the difference a regular booking can make—helping Ian and his wife enjoy quality time together with their dogs.

This week, I had the pleasure of picking up a customer from an Option Holidays in Cirencester. It was a longer trip, but one I was more than happy to make. Along the way, I met another Daisy driver from the Forest of Dean—it’s always lovely to connect with others in the Driving Miss Daisy family!
