The Rapids cottage, Symonds Yat in the wye valley, is divine seclusion.
Relax in the luxurious outdoor 4 person jetted hot tub style bath or in our outdoor woodland cinema, where you can watch netflix under the canopy of your own ancient woodland. Or in front of the fire listening to the sounds of the rapids and the calls of the birds.

Walk straight from your gate onto footpaths or mountain bike trials. Or wonder down 1 the Riverside or ride the hand ferry across the bank to have a fabulous lunch in the pub. Do not worry there is another wonderful local just 500m away. Yet you are away from any noise, cars or footfall in your private woodland hideaway.

Pets allowed free of charge. Gates to secure off the decking off from the woodland.

Our balcony and decking were made for sipping drinks, sharing alfresco diners with loved ones, and soaking up the beautiful weather. When you have such a secluded but open outdoor space, you have to take full advantage of it.

We have had some lovely questions about our table display. This was our girly day at the cottage. Foraging, then cooking up a storm and creating a banquet fit for, well, friends that have been separated for so long. I'll tell up the story ... don't worry it was not all work and no play. In fact it was mostly play.
