Great news!

We are delighted to be officially Proud Certified at The Cottage Garden! No matter who you love, or how you identify, you will be welcome to stay at our little retreat. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, this is such an important cause that we are all proud to support. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe while they are holidaying with us.

Soon our listing on Booking.com will be marked as Proud Certified so all our visitors will know they are welcome to stay with us!

Covid-19 Responders!

Due to being unable to host holiday stays during this lockdown, we have opened our flat to be booked by Covid-19 Responders. If you are or someone you know is a Frontline Worker and needs accommodation for work, please book through our Airbnb listing for a 60% discount on all stays. Long and short stays available, our flat is completely self contained with it's own access separate to the main house and has strict cleaning rules in place. Perfect for work in Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester, Hereford, or the Forest of Dean.

Some brilliant news to brighten the current situation! In our first year we managed to keep our reviews high enough to get the Traveller Review Award with an average of 9.4 out of 10. All that hard work has paid off! Although we're unable to host at the moment, when the restrictions lift we hope to continue to provide high quality stays to all.

Meet your hosts!

Mike and Suzie Williams have lived in the Lea since 1992. They brought up their two children here and and both work locally. They are avid walkers and geocachers, exploring many areas in the beautiful Forest of Dean with their two springer spaniels, Ellie and Willow. They run a very relaxed household, and hope to provide an equally relaxing environment for your stay!
