Roller-Costa Brava 🎢 ⛰️ 🏖️ … each small climb bringing a fantastic downhill reward around each corner.
Recovery days spent exploring the medieval village of Peratallada for a long lunch and relaxing ride through country lanes 😴 … ready for our 2 days of climbing coming up ⛰️
Team spirit in full flow at the top of the Els Angel climb in Girona.
A great warm-up to the climbs over here with a nice 3% average gradient over 10km ⛰️
The first edition of SunVelo Girona has begun. A fabulous start to the week with sunshine, lovely roads and great company… oh, and we managed to find a great location to ‘rehydrate!’ 🍻 ☀️ 🚲
Our ride over toward the town of Banyoles includes quiet rolling roads, views of the ‘pre Pyrenees’ and a short lap of the wonderful ‘Estany de Banyoles’ lake. Both groups will be riding here for some well earned coffee and cake with a view!

Girona Cycling Routes
- We pride ourselves on the extent of knowledge all members of the ride leading team have of the local roads and country lanes.
- As well as iconic climbs we will take you off the beaten track on some of the best riding roads and country lanes that are seldom used (or even known) by most visitors to the region.
- Our rides are different each day and the variation available will enable you to ride with others at your level, we never leave anyone behind.
- We will guide you to which is the best group to join each day based on your objectives and riding experience.
- Recovery is an important aspect of training. The SunVelo progressive weekly schedule includes a recovery day on Wednesday where riders can either rest or join a SunVelo led “light” group recovery ride of approximately 40km.
