Another absolutely fantastic 2 days on the trails here in the Italian Alps!!

Coll dell'Assietta was simply stunning rising up to over 8300ft, and today was the turn of the jafferau trail where we hit heights of over 9200ft!

Tomorrow is a new day so let's see what other gems this breathtaking region has in store for us again 👍🏻

So after an eventful day on Sunday just after visiting the Reims-Gueux F1 track disaster struck with a broken altenator on Petes Disco!
We drove on onto the next town and settled down for the night with intentions of sourcing a replacement but no-one had 1 in stock.....but in stepped this guy!
Just as we were passing a remote garage we noticed an old 200tdi disco in the carpark and a defender too......so guessing only an enthusiast would own 2 landrovers this far from civilisation we called in and hey presto we were back on the road with a used 2nd hand alt! 👌🏻
No time lost (other than Petes sausage rolls went soggy due to no fridge 😂) and still on schedule for our planned trip and routes!!
Massive thanks goes out to and her father for saving the day!

We're on our way towards the Alps after arriving in Dunkirk spending the night at the historic walled town of Bergues.
A quick stop off for some French dinner before we head for Reims-Gueux F1 track on our way.

With just over 6 weeks till our fantastic wildcamp Alps tour there's still space to squeeze a couple of 4x4s in 👍🏻

With some of the most breathtaking trails on our itinerary and some spectacular wildcamp spots it's a not to be missed trip!

There's still time to book onto our no frills wild camping expedition style tour accross the Alps in August.

We make regular stops on our way to northern Italy and some of these stops include the Reims-Gueux F1 track, visit Dinnant in Belgium and we drive over the Col De l'lseran, the 2nd highest pass in the Alps .

Our all inclusive package includes hire of our overland inspired Landrover Discovery2 td5, (best suited to 2x adults and child) insurance, all camping/cooking equipment, on board shower/toilet, All fuel, ferry ticket, guide for the route and any assistance you might need for the 14day trip all in for £3500!

We also offer a guide only package at £800 per car where you come along in your very own 4x4, you can either choose to rendezvous with us at a start point near the beginning of the actual tour or convoy with us for the entire 14 day duration at no extra cost......remember this is per car and there's no limit on passengers 👍🏻
(All we ask is your car is serviced and looked after and has a minimum of allterain tyres fitted)
