From our base in Rothesay harbor on the Beautiful Isle of Bute, we offer boat trips around around the waters of the Isle of Bute, Argyll, the Clyde & surrounding area, giving you a unique perspective on a beautiful landscape dotted with isolated beaches, uninhabited islands, breathtaking villages and imposing mountains. We regularly encounter pods of porpoise and dolphin, sea otters, seals, deer,

osprey and even the odd basking shark. Our man boat is the high speed rib, Commando One, a former Swedish special forces high performance boat that is extremely stable and can handle all conditions thrown at it. We also offer private charters for those wishing to plan their own trip. We can also offer direct pick ups from Glasgow to Rothesay, Cumbrae, Arran, Largs, Tarbert, Kames and other destinations around the Clyde and Argyll areas, ideal for stag & hen parties, golfing excursions, diving, shopping and much more. We're off out again tomorrow morning, departing at 1000 for a run over to The Cumbraes and up the Largs Channel, into Millport Bay and then off around Little Cumbrae. We'll be heading across to the brilliant Tarbert Seafood Festival this Saturday & Sunday. It is a fantastic day out, with great food, live entertainment and a real family friendly atmosphere.

We will be departing from Rothesay harbour at 11.10am both days. Places are limited.

Another great day sightseeing up the Kyle's. Lucky to see the porpoises up at the entrance of Loch Ridden and on the way back down just at Moss Wood. No seals basking on the rocks today but plenty in swimming at Eilean Mór. We're back out tomorrow. Looks like it's going to be another very calm day and sunny to boot. What a boat. Up close & Personal.

The Gannets and Porpoises out today catching fish. Counted about 9 porpoise in 2 different pods today. Back out tomorrow at 1230 up the Kyle's again, on Wednesday were off over to both Cumbraes at 1045 and on Thursday we're off up the Kyle's again for an 1830 departure. It's always a bit different just approaching dusk. Call, text, WhatsApp or email me if you're wanting to come out on a trip.

Our trip to Portavadie then onto Largs yesterday. These beautiful creatures were just off the South of Bute. We were also lucky enough to spot a sea eagle over the East Kyles & our colony of seals at the Burnt Islands. We’re back out today. 2 trips up the Kyles, 1 at 1100 and the usual at 1300. For the 1100 you need to contact me by text/WhatsApp etc and I’ll get back to you as the 1100 can’t be booked online.
