Munro's is a large Victorian house on the Isle of Bute. We can accommodate groups of up to 16 plus up to 2 well behaved dogs.

It’s been a weird summer so far with the weather all over the place. We’ve got loads of availability in September and massive discounts for a late summer getaway. Give us a call or message for latest availability and prices.

We have reached an age where we want to kick back a bit and relax so we’ve put our home and business on the market. Our 14 yr old grandson loves the house and says when he’s rich he’ll buy it back 😄

We are selling as a going concern and none of our many summer bookings will be affected.
The house is lovely and as a self catering holiday business it’s very easy to run. We have our own flat with a separate entrance (and amazing views)
It would lend itself to being a B&B again but in truth we were more successful as a holiday let because of the longer season plus it’s so much easier.
We’ve had a blast but it’s time to move on!

This amazing weather is perfect for taking in the view from Munro’s. The Wemyss Bay ferry is just coming into Rothesay loaded with visitors.

I’ve repainted the inner front door in our welcoming porch. The colour is Stormy Retreat which I thought would be quite apt for a Scottish island home. (We all know it’s actually just grey but I’ll indulge Dulux 😄).

In February we hosted a bereavement retreat organised by with . It was one of the most fun weeks we’ve had and Richard is just as you’d imagine - a lovely human being. The TV programme that resulted is available on C4. It’s a hoot and also very moving.
