Snowing heavily in Glencoe at the moment. Fabulous news if you are hoping to slide down the hills on skis or sledges.

Tigh Mo Mhiann is perfectly positioned to arrive by train. Or travel by train on a day out. Such scenic views which ever direction you choose: Corrour (for remote hiking) or Mallaig (along the Harry Potter line).

Using the Caledonian Sleeper means you are in London in the evening and in the Highlands the next morning.

Just 4 trains per day each way so you'll need to plan! Even this close to the platform, there is no disturbance. Just all the convenience for train travel.

You won't catch me on one of these! But just in case quad bikes are on your bucket list, I'll leave this here.

(and I just happened to spot that the owner of these quad bikes is a Mr Sims. We bought the cottage from a Mr Sims 30 years ago! So the Sims family have been in the Roybridge hospitality trade for a long time, like us!)

How cool do these new quad bikes look. I'm looking forward to letting them loose on our trails.
