Another project is to create a pathway through this lot. One of two native Scottish planting projects, this one to the West of the farm. Hopefully in years to come it will look like the one in the third picture. Closer to home, the agility of the red squirrel always amazes me, they attempt the impossible to reach food 👍

Despite all the weird weather, rain, no rain, biblical rain, our new woodland walks are still looking good.

Thank you to everyone who called or messaged asking if we were ok after Monday evenings storm. Lots of damage to bridges, culverts, fences and our pathways, but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed.
Before and after pictures of the ford we recently put in. The force of the water moved 4 concrete railway sleepers we had bolted together. They are still intact but about 5m away from where they should be.
Unrelated, Margo is recovering from her fall, broken arm and in a lot of pain from her bumps and bruises but managed to get downstairs yesterday. She is on the mend.

A regular visitor to our bird feeder, finally caught posing for the camera. Great to have visitors and guests back on the farm.

This flexible red squirrel can get to nuts no matter where they are. One of two we have visiting the bird feeders in the garden. Would be good to see babies soon.
