I hope you have all had an amazing week. It has been an unexpectedly busy one at Handpicked Holiday.

The September peak doesn't usually kick in until around the last week of September once people have returned to routine. However, we've already booked more holidays month to date, than we did in the whole of September last year.

This is 4️⃣0️⃣ Thank you so much for all of your gorgeous messages and well wishes.
When I say I have had the best day, I truly mean it. From a private boat trip with bbq lobster, too many local rum and cokes wohooo, to nature poos (not me), dolphins, snorkelling, shipwrecks, abandoned lighthouses, picnics on paradise island, a toddler kick off or 50, and an amazing over the age of 12 taster menu dinner on the beach which we snook our kids in to (that didn't go as well as we planned after spilt drinks and s**t head meltdowns), finished off with homemade crown green bowling with coconuts and the kids. But hey 🤷‍♀️ I chose this life and I'm bloody grateful for it 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

I had a little meltdown about turning 40, but realising I achieved so much in my 30s has made me realise my 40s is all about enjoying my family and everything I am lucky enough to have created, and finally trying to make some time for "me" too 🤍

Out Of Office

I don't usually put my out of office on, but I am off on a family holiday with my gang to Mauritius to celebrate my 40th, and so I thought I should try and switch off a little.

I will be sharing content from our trip (us self-employed never truly switch off), I love Mauritius so much, and I am going to be doing some work on some content whilst I am there alongside the resorts, to show you how special Mauritius is, and why we keep going back, largely because its cheaper than any Europe trip for larger families in the summer holidays, so watch out for any offers!
