Part of the reason we love exploring new places is because we get to try a whole range of new cuisines, menus curated from unique pallets and thoughtfully sauced ingredients from local farmers and markets! And when we return from a trip? Of course we love to tell the tail of the dish we can't stop reliving the taste of ...

𝑹𝑶𝑩𝑬𝑹𝑻𝑶𝑺, 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒐 ~ Offering a sense of every day luxury, Robertos is set beside Porto in Tivat, Montenegro, offering the perfect opportunity to dine amongst yacht owners and feel as though you belong. Their tastefully crafted menu combines dinner time favourites and turns them into a delicacy. The atmosphere feels sophisticated yet charismatic and the service couldn't be better.

𝑩𝑰𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑨, 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔 ~ Is it controversial to recommend an Italian restaurant during your trip to the French city of love? Maybe, but it's worth it. A compliment to authentic Italian cuisine, Bianca's presented us with the perfect four cheese pizza, accompanied by a glass of wine. No grease, the right amount of cheese, a quirky vibe and close enough to the city to wonder back but far enough out you can enjoy a peaceful break from the cities hustle.

𝑳'𝑨𝑴𝑰𝑮𝑶 𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑼𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑻, 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒂 ~ I will never stop sharing this restaurant! Sometimes the food isn't what makes a restaurant (all though the food was delicious too) but the people. Waited on by a gentlemen in his 80's who had recently lost his partner, we listened as his son-in-law shared his story and how he works every evening there to keep his mind occupied. The only way I can describe dining here is like dining with family you've just met. I would 100% recommend visiting and supporting this independent restaurant whilst you're in Mhelliah!

From competition to culture, keep an eye out next month for my blog post titled 'From the Tokyo Marathon to taste testing traditional teas' - an exciting perspective on one of the most popular 2025 destinations

Starting their trip with 5 nights in Tokyo, they will get to know the city at their own pace before the run commences, but just one day later the adventure truly begins with a coach tour to Mount Fiji!

🏯There's no rest for these eager travellers as the next morning is spent on the train to Kyoto to enjoy an afternoon at the Gion Kagai Art Museum, followed by a Maiko Performance. Over the course of the next 2 days, they will also dive into the heart of the city with a full day private guided tour, a half day cycling tour and if they still have energy to burn, an optional trip to Nara is on the cards.

⛩Next up, a chance to unwind and appreciate Japanese traditions in the beautiful city of Osaka, with a slower paced itinerary, my clients will spend the morning on a local train journey around Osaka spotting ancient architecture and surreal views, before having a peaceful Sunday to wonder around as they please.

🍜Spending the next two nights in Kanazawa, Omicho Market is the perfect place to indulge in fresh produce, flavoursome fish and divine dishes. But to truly appreciate tradition, my clients will be joining a Tea Ceremony at Gyokusen-En set amongst lush foliage & stone lanterns.

👘Before heading back to England to reflect on a pact few weeks of new experiences, they will be spending a final night in Tokyo enjoying authentic Japanese cuisines!

This year I've decided to take a deep dive into a new destination each month, starting with

A city with so much to offer, it's hard not to be the perfect city break for most travellers, but for a compact city, there is just so much to fit into a weekend escape! So, if it is on your Europe guide for the year, save this post!

Let's start with 𝐕𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐫𝐨! An electric mix of bars and restaurants, boutique shops and eye-catching street art, Vesterbro is an ideal base for a lively evening after a full day of exploration. Head to Cadences bakery for a traditional Danish pastry before using the 'know your bro' app for a self guided tour off the beaten track.

Ø𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐫𝐨 is next on the list, a shoppers paradise and one of the only neighbourhoods in Copenhagen to boast a green oasis, perfect for spring time picnics or an autumnal stroll. With an array of locally sauced ingredients readily available, the dining opportunities are spectacular, but to truly embrace local culture why not try your hand at cooking local dishes at the very popular Hahnemanns Køkken cooking class?!

𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, Central Copenhagen is a scene from a fairy-tale, cobbled streets and old taverns, home to nineteen museums and two of the oldest streets in Copenhagen, history buffs won't be sure for places to immerse in the past. A spot of lunch at Torvehallerne, one of Copenhagen’s main food markets, will be the highlight of your culinary adventure.
