on July 17th we are holding a football match in the grounds of Pool Park Estate between two schools, Ysgol Gellifor and Ysgol Bryn Clwyd, to help raise money for a local schoolboy currently in hospital.

Aiden Jones, 8, from Denbigh and pupil of Ysgol Bryn Clwyd, is being treated for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool after falling ill a few weeks ago.

This is a Private Event for the two schools, the general public are not permitted onto site. Details and photos of the match will be shared after the event.

Pupils from years 5 & 6 at Ysgol Gellifor and Ysgol Bryn Clwyd will be spending the morning at Pool Park Estate competing for the inaugural Pool Park Cup.

We are looking forward to welcoming both teams for a friendly match and will be awarding the winners with a trophy and the runners-up with medals.

Sadly, another break in has been reported by our Security team over the weekend. This has been passed onto the Police now, and we are looking into identifying the individuals. We, at Pool Park Estate, just want to stress that by entering site, you are trespassing. Pool Park is private property as well as a building site, and should not be visited if uninvited.

Unfortunately, Pool Park has again experienced a few trespassers over the last couple of days. As you can see, our security cameras were able to capture a clear image of the people here on site yesterday, who we are looking to identify.

Just a reminder that Pool Park is a building site that is not safe or open to the general public. Our security team are attending call outs for anyone who is on site unauthorized, and any alerts that are triggered on the CCTV are sent straight to the Police.

We had the MOST amazing day at Blithfield Hall as the guests of Charlie and Cosy Bagot-Jewitt. Since we bought Pool Park Estate, we have been in touch with the Bagot Family. William, Second Lord Bagot, of Blithfield Hall built Pool Park Manor House in 1826. Charlie Bagot is a direct descendant of Lord Bagot and now owns Blithfield Hall, the Bagot Family home. It was wonderful to see the strong connection between Blithfield and Pool Park as we explored the huge Staffordshire mansion and its rich history! We learnt so much about Pool Park that will help us in the restoration. We were also given a Blithfield Oak Tree to plant at Pool Park! What a wonderful weekend spent with lovely people🩵🪴🌼

The Sundial 🌞 this Garden Sundial is dated 1661 and has the initials C.S carved into it. These initials most likely refer to Charles Salesbury of Bachymbyd. The Sundial is believed to have originated at Bachymbyd and was brought to Pool Park at the time of rebuilding under Lord Bagot. The Bagots inherited Pool Park through marriage into the Salesbury family.

The Sundial sits at the top of the mount at Pool Park. Unfortunately we believe vandals have recently knocked it down. For now, we will store the sundial in a safe place until we can restore the mount and put the sundial back in place 😊

We’ve had another trespasser today ❤️

After our burglary and theft last month our security team are still catching people regularly trespassing and trying to access the house and grounds.
ALG Security Ltd & North Wales Police are attending calls outs each time as we have protected bat species on the site.

Hi everyone. We have had more people break into Pool Park this weekend.
Does anyone know who these people are? Name and shame. They are ruining what we are trying to achieve at Pool Park.

There are protected bat roosts in these buildings. Investigations are still going on for the last break in. North Wales Police

We’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has sent us messages, both on FB and privately, to say how sorry they were to hear about the break-in at Pool Park. The police have the CCTV footage (with the voices of the perpetrators). This week we have upgraded our security systems, made the buildings more secure and added more cameras that are monitored 24/7.
