Rye History Walks has something for everyone – from the avid history lover to those of an inquisitive nature: young and old alike! Your history walk guide:
Mike Carver has taught History for 20 years and has organised and led historical tours and conferences for even longer! As a former Rye resident of the Citadel himself, he has a passion for Medieval History and still lives and teaches locally in the heart of 1066 Country. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the walks free of charge (on a lead!)

Walks last 2 hours approx. Walks cost: Adults: £10
Children (accompanied) Free (max.2 per booking)

Please note: walks are approximately a mile in length and will involve some steep(ish) gradients, cobbled streets and uneven surfaces. Suitable footwear is essential. Regrettably, pushchairs and wheelchairs/mobility scooters are not suitable for this walk. Please contact us for further details at:
