BREAKING NEWS: The average number of carrier bags found on UK beaches has fallen by 80% since charges were introduced in 2014!

We've been monitoring beach litter for 30 years and the data gathered by our fantastic beach clean volunteers led to charges on single-use carrier bags.

Last year, our volunteers found an average of 1 carrier bag every 100m of coastline surveyed compared to 5 every 100m in 2014

A huge thank you to our volunteers who have gathered so much vital data - this is a big campaign win for our ocean!

This year marks the 60th anniversary for the St.Agnes Carnival, and the event will be taking place on Saturday 3 August.

There will be road closures around the village from 16.30 to 21.30. Should be a great event!
