With the weather coming in this weekend, now might be a great time to visit our fantastic museum which gives you all the information you need on the history of the St Agnes parish.

Our village library is also open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays and has a wealth of books on the local area - along with some beanbags so that you can relax and read!

The National Trust have organised some coastal walks lead by local historian Roger Radcliffe!

Trevellas and Blue Hills tin streams
This walk will take in Trevellas Porth before heading up to Blue Hills Tin Streaming
works for a guided tour of the Tin streaming process with Mark Wills.

Thursday 08th August 13:00 – 16:00
Folklore Foray The walk will follow the line of Bolster D**e from Churchtown St
Agnes to Chapel Porth returning via the Beacon.

Monday 30th September 12:00 – 14:30
Towan Cross to Porthtowan and Chapel Porth
The walk will take in the Towan Cross heathland and Wheal Charlotte before heading
across the beach from Porthtowan to Chapel Porth

The Eden Project's Festival of Lights is running until the 30th December. We visited tonight and can highly recommend. The combination of lights and music in the Mediterranean biome was just magical. Topped off with a spin on the ice rink, and a mulled cider, and I'm now feeling super Christmassy!

Despite the cloudy afternoon I thoroughly enjoyed my cliff top walk today. Barely a soul to be seen, apart from the occasional dog walker and a handful of hardy surfers...brrrrr!
