BLIMEY. What a Sunday that was! Today reminded us of just how busy we can get during the middle of summer, and it showed what a fab place Genki is to be on a sunny day.

Days like today are just the best - a mixture of friends, regulars, locals, returning visitors from further afield, and newbies alike, it’s the best job in the world to spend the day amongst all the smiling faces - who wouldn’t be happy after a plate of Sunday waffles?? 😁

A huge thank you to the squillions of people (I didn’t keep an exact tally 😉) who came to see us for take away or good times in the garden; during such a windy week it was ace to see sun lotion being applied and layers finally being stripped off - it gives hope that summer really is on its way. 😎

We’re closed tomorrow as always on a Monday, then we’ll be back from 9:30-2 on Tuesday. There’s no need to book, just turn up when you fancy, and come join us in the sunshine. We’ll have smoothies & waffles, porridge bowls, a handful of savouries such as our new nachos and salads, and of course the most delish coffee from .

Now onto restocking everything...

Perfect for breakfast - holiday waffles!! ❤️

It may be a bit breezy in Cornwall this week, but you’d never know it when you’re sat in our lovely enclosed garden. We’re so very lucky to be so sheltered where we are, so just picture yourself enjoying a gorgeous cup of , a delicious fresh genki bowl, and a spot of sunshine. It’s what spring days were made for.

We’re open Tuesday to Sunday 9:30-2. We don’t take bookings, so just turn up whenever’s good for you, and either get a take away to stroll down to your favourite sea view spot, or enjoy our wild and beautiful suntrap garden.

In less than two weeks we are opening our St Agnes brewery doors for the first time! ⁠

On Friday 16th April will be open from 5pm-10pm serving up all of our favourite new craft beers for you to try. Seating will be outdoors in our lovely courtyard with table service, great music and chilled vibes. ⁠
⁠
Make sure to get there early to get a spot. Entry will be first come first served due to covid regulations. ⁠

Soooo and I have done something a little crazy... we’ve only gone and opened a deli just down the road (literally steps away!) from The Sorting Office - ✨ We’re stepping up bagel production but also selling loads of delicious cheese, charcuterie, Italian olive oils, filled focaccia, specialty breads as well as beautiful .co flowers & gifts (and wine coming soon! 🍷). You’ll be seeing me running between the two I’m sure 🏃🏼‍♀️🧀🍷🥯💐

Good news for dogs!! 🐶🧡

Dogs can now be on Porthtowan and Chapel Porth beaches before 10am and after 6pm during the summer. This is fantastic news for dogs that like a dip but please remember to not take them on the beach between 10am-6pm and to leave nothing on the beach but half chewed driftwood and lost tennis balls (those are probably all mine)

Fabulous food just a walk away up the cliff path!

BIG POSITIVE WEEK!

As we prepare to open again tomorrow we know there will be a big focus on Saturday.

From the 4th we will lay our long tables again. We can’t wait to do this not just because we are a business, in fact that’s the last reason. We believe our tables can symbolise way more then just a bunch of people filling there tummies. It’s now that we will prove this.

So come and see us and be part of something more.
To make it work you just need to bring positivity because with this we can do anything.
