Fowey is a lovely fishing harbour and why not take a ferry across to Polruan to the local pub for lunch, all located

7 miles from Gunnado. Charlestown is 3 miles from St.Austell and is renowned for the Tall ships where many television programes have been filmed Poldark being the most recent. Port Issac where they film Doc Martin is only 24 miles from here and is so picturesque and is now a visitor magnet, with lots of beautiful coves and beaches along the north coast where surfing is a must do activity. Falmouth the 3rd deepest dock in the world is along the south coast where it has a sub tropical climate and is only 40 minutes away, with a quaint town and perfect sandy beaches. Newquay is famous for surfing it holds big surfing competitions and has many beaches with beautiful golden sand, and is perfect if looking for nightlife too, and is only 14 miles from St.Austell. Newquay Airport is 14 miles and St.Austell train station 1 mile from Gunnado. Plymouth City is 1 hour away on the train where there are many shops and the shopping mall Drakes Circus and the Hoe and Barbican are perfect for alfresco dining or sipping drinks whilst watching the sunset. Gunnado is the perfect base to relax where you can take in the Cornish air on a private patio/balcony and soak up some sunshine or have a BBQ whilst the the sun is setting. It has a perfect view of the valley overlooking fields and woods where you can watch birds of prey and if you're lucky enough you might catch a glimpse of a deer. So make Gunnado your perfect base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.
