Above Newquay High Street, where people were busy going about their evening, amongst the bars, shops and arcades, this happened, unnoticed.

Newquay is 25 minutes from Bed and Basket.

This walk had it all!

A beautiful stretch of coastline, unlike the scenery we usually find,
A village for a coffe break in the pub (other beverages are available 😂)
A woodland section with ancient ruins,
A cute village for fish and chips,
And even …. Ice-cream all round at Roskilly’s -which was fabulous!

All in the sunshine! Perfect.
We’ll definitely do this route again.

We welcome all breeds at Bed and Basket® - hairy dogs, slobbery dogs, giant dogs, guarding breeds ... all dogs. We only ask what you are bringing because we are nosy! Or so we supply the correct sized crate or dog bed (we lend those if required)

Do you have an enclosed area?
No, we have two enclosed paddock areas using 5 foot plus fencing with hedging in front. AND you have an enclosed patio area with a dog shower.

My dog sits on the sofa.
That's fine, just use one of the throws provided.

We found this fascinating.
This is a visual representation (not totally accurate) of what you dog sees/smells everyday. The snow enables us to see the history of what has passed through the area, in the same way your dog will smell it.
Look how noisy it is with people, dogs and other animals!

Our dogs really are incredible.

This is, unapologetically, one of our favourite walks - especially this time of year.
The cries of the seals (at the end of the clip) are mysterious, almost haunting around the cove.

It is such a delight when they return each year to haul out and slightly saddening when they disappear again at the end of the breeding season and the beach is empty again.
