The lakes have been bustling with anglers this last week, with most of our guests landing plenty of fish! While most catches were around the 10lb mark, a few larger specimens were also caught, including a stunning 17lb 2oz Ghost Carp landed by Jordan - nice one! 👏

Our longest 'Pets Corner' resident, Kingpin came to us from a donkey sanctuary back in 2001 at a young age, and loves his home here at Meadow Lakes! He is very friendly, laid back, and loves a bit of attention 🥰

As you may remember, we teamed up with the ‘David Bellamy Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature’ scheme this year, emphasising our dedication to preserving nature and wildlife here at our beautiful park. 🌻🌱🐾

We took on the “Pollinator Patch” challenge, incorporating new wildflower plantings and other initiatives, providing a wonderful habitat for butterflies, moths and birds including buzzards, on park. We’re thrilled to have been given the Gold Award, and are excited to continue our work around the park to help cultivate the local flora, fauna and animals! 🐝

As well as this, our delightful new ‘Woodland Walk’, has been an absolute hit with our lovely visitors this season. We’ll be focussing on improving this, along with developing a “Nature Walk” and more educational signage, for our guests and owners to enjoy, too! 💚
