Little Polgrain Barns

This post mirrors one on instagram. We have availability in The Autumn and Winter. Both seasons are stunning in their own ways down here. There is lots to do inside as well as watch the sea.

A very old barn conversion is a perfect setting for those autumn evenings, we even have a fire basket in the garden if you fancy sitting with a cup of hot chocolate (laced with the tipple of your choice) watching the moon or the stars. We are on the edge of a bortle class 2 or 3 sky, if you are keen on such things.

Following on from all my wild sea winter posts, this is a calm sea summer post. The only constant is it is still only 15 minutes from Little Polgrain Barn.

So I don't post often enough, bad me!
This set of photos (which I have been unable to make into a reel?) show the beautiful walk form the holiday lets to Portholland. The walk is beset by wild flowers, birdsong, a few cows, many different bird calls and songs. All in 15 minutes. I do it most days.





Advice on turning the photos into a reel gratefully received.

In Lieu of all the storm sea posts here is the beach on a calm sunny day.
Plus, this is not Cold comfort Farm, there is something nice in our woodshed!

Well, here we go. Grain Store 2 is now ready, up and running. It's lovely in there, it has lovely morning sun. We've made lots of tweaks since we took it over and would highly recommend it to anyone for summer stay. There are still dates available. Close to Eden Project and many other Cornwall attractions.

As usual, the sea, though you can't see it from the Little Polgrain Barns it is only a 15 minute walk. yesterday the sea was angry, but stunning.
