We hope everyone's had a brilliant summer. It's been great to see our guests enjoy the very best of what Cornwall's got to offer. We are very lucky to live in a place like this.

You can tell the schools are going back as the coming week's weather is looking pretty good!

The school holidays have begun for some and what a lovely day to be in Portmellon. The sun's shining and the sea's as warm as it's been all year. We've two barns (The Snug and Daisy) available next week and then we're all booked until September.

Well, well, well!

While we've been busy getting ready for the new season, when we cleared some ivy in front of The Picture Window, we discovered a well. It has a coat of arms above it but the coat of arms is different from the one on our house. Very strange! If anyone knows why that might be, we'd love to know...
